Residential Land Promotion – Neighbourhood Plan Site
This site was assembled by linking two landowners together. The site was promoted for planning through the neighbourhood plan process. A landscape led approach was essential in gaining public support for the scheme.
The site achieved an allocation in the neighbourhood plan and was granted planning consent for 90 dwellings.
The site had numerous challenges relating to transport, levels and surface water drainage.
A new public park adjoining the existing village hall was provided by the scheme.
